Affiliate disclosure
The disclosure on this page applies to www.wheywise.co.uk
Last updated: 19 April 2026
The short version
WheyWise is a free protein powder price comparison tool. Some of the links that send you through to a retailer are affiliate links. If you buy something after clicking one, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you.
Commissions never influence what we compare, how products are ranked, or the prices we display. Our rankings are generated from the same public price data regardless of whether a retailer pays us a commission.
Which affiliate programs we use
At the time of writing, WheyWise participates in the following affiliate programs:
- Amazon Associates (UK): As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases. Links going to
amazon.co.uk(including “Buy on Amazon” buttons and product cards) are Amazon affiliate links. Governed by Amazon's Associates Programme Operating Agreement. - Awin: Awin is an affiliate network that connects us with UK retailers such as Myprotein, Bulk, Warrior, and others. Links routed through Awin (for example via
awin1.comor a tracked retailer URL) are affiliate links. Governed by Awin's Publisher Terms.
If we add or remove affiliate partners in future, we will update this page.
How to spot an affiliate link
You can safely assume any outbound link on WheyWise that sends you to a retailer (Amazon, Myprotein, Bulk, Warrior, and similar) may be an affiliate link. Hovering over a link or watching the redirect in your browser will often show a domain like amzn.to, amazon.co.uk/...tag=, or awin1.com/cread.php before landing on the retailer.
Some retailer links are not affiliate links, usually because we have not been accepted into that retailer's program yet. In that case the link is a plain URL with no tracking added by us.
What this does NOT change
- ×The price you pay. Affiliate links do not increase prices.
- ×Our rankings. “Cheapest” and “best value” are calculated from public price data, not commission rates.
- ×Which products appear. We include retailers regardless of whether they run an affiliate program.
- ×Our reviews. We write based on publicly verifiable nutrition and price data.
Why we use affiliate links
WheyWise is free to use, has no ads, and does not sell your data. Affiliate commissions help cover the cost of hosting, the price scraping pipeline, and domain registration. Without them, we could not keep the site running and free to use.
Regulatory context
This disclosure is provided in line with UK Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) and Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) guidance on clearly identifying commercial content, as well as the Amazon Associates Programme Operating Agreement which requires a prominent statement that we are an Amazon Associate.
